231 Still Sluggish

Thanks for the moral support after my last post, guys.

I'm still devoid of transport, but the kindness of friends and colleagues means there is now hope on the horizon that I'll be back to gaming soon...and with that comes the rekindling of my painting fire.

Strangely, I have managed to paint some 'Epic' Space Marines that my mate left round my house. Crimson Fists, but I think they'll need some basic highlighting. The photo's rubbish:
Until next time...

  1. Hey, these small things look cute! I never tried painting any small scale stuff but I thought it would be quite hard.

  2. Yeah, my mind just needed to paint something I could 'churn out' to feel a sense of completion. You could certainly detail them a huge amount more(!) but frakly, these are the older-style miniatures, and the detail on the infantry is negligable.

The vehicles could certsinly benefit from some highlighting...but, y'know!

    Cheers for commenting.

  3. I know what you mean. It is taking me ages to paint any of my IG stuff. At the moment it just looks like a ton of work that I don't want to get back to.

I think I have a better shot with my marines though. Somewhow they seem easier to paint than IG. I might get a landspeeder done over the weekend.

Good luck with all the rest :)

  4. Hi Admiral, hope you get mobile soon. re. the Epic Marines, they look more like Crimson Fist Chapter than Imperial Fist ;0)

  6. Aw, they're so cute. It makes me miss my tiny epic armies. But, having dragged them around for years and never once got a game in with them, they had to be sacrificed to the ebay monster a while back.
