350 40K Anti-Tank Support II...Not Anti-Tank!

+++message starts+++

Finally...
made it...
to the computer...
for once...
away from daughters...

Took these pics...
last week...
when I finished...
the 1:35 howitzer...

as requested...
Guardsman for scale:
Seems too large...
to be Anti-Tank...
will probably re-role...
as more fun artillery.

Need...
sleep...

Out to you.

  1. I'm liking this!
I can see it dishing out a S10 AP1 Armourbane 3" blast. (Medusa artillery carriage with bastion breacher rounds).
What rules do you think you will use?

  2. Can probably be used as an Earthshaker platform, or like Col. Ackland said, the Medusa carriage.

How many crew are you going to put with it?

  3. That so needs to be a diorama piece mate!

  4. That could easily double as an Earthshaker cannon.

  5. I can see it as either of those pieces, chaps - thanks.

That said, it's YEARS since I've fielded a basilisk, simply because it seems such a bonkers weapon to have in the front line. Plus, it's an expensive, fagile one.

It WOULD work very well indeed as a diorama piece, Colbane - not least given the level of detail - but sadly I've neither the technical skill nor the resources nor the stoarage to enable/justify such a project. I also have to convert up a crew for them...

Plus, the tractors for it that Zzzzzz supplied are absolutely wickedcool, and it'd be a real shame not to use them.

I see an artillery train under attack, somewhere in the dim future, methinks...
