...So I was at my dad's house last weekend, going through some of my old stuff and I happened to flick through my old homework planners from secondary school. Here are two, er, 'sketches' I dug out from 1995, when I was roughly 15. I think the old 'Epic Space Marine' vintage speaks for itself - especially in the first one(!):
That is all.
PS: Workload should usefully decrease in a couple of weeks - thank Terra!
Wow. A look back through the mists of time! I used to have a scrapbook of this sort of stuff but no idea where it is now. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about the workload - been missing the Admiral on my blogroll! Hope you and the family are all ship shape :)
Hah! Awesome, Drax! I used to doodle beakies in my workbooks all the time as well - no school like the old school!
ReplyDeletelol, 'Rainbow dweebs'?
ReplyDeleteHeh, glad to see another beakie scribbler. I used to fill exercise books up constantly and deface multiple school desks with my 40K doodles.
ReplyDelete1995 ! I was into my 'second career' !
ReplyDeleteBluddie kidz....
Thanks for the comments, Chaps.
ReplyDelete'Beakie-sribbler'. Genius.
With luck and the usual following wind I'll have a Flames of War post up in a day or so (though I think the looming raiin will scupper any chances of a good photo) and then...
...I PLAN TO RETURN TO 40K!
[It's been too long.]
heh, Rainbow Dweebs
ReplyDeleteErr...Rainbow Dweebs? I honestly can't remember. If anyone happens to have any idea about who these 2nd Edition curios might have been, then answers please to the usual address...
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of is Harlequins, but I've always quite liked them. Still, maybe it was an in-joke.
