619 - 11AD Stuart Recce 'Jalopy'

Hullo, All,

I've been playing with my new lightbox again (see previous post), and with hearty thanks to Siph Horridus for the tips, here's a toy that I finished months ago but never posted.

It's Rubicon's Stuart VI kit, which I won as a prize back in February. I added a magnet to the top of the hull so I could store the HMG and its ring inside but still retain the option to use it with its turret (should I ever wish to).

My parting shot of 2017 (although not my last game, as it happens) will be this: I actually got to play X-Wing again last week, for the first time in a looooong time. Yay! - a double session of seeing the new film, 'The Last Jedi,' with my old adversary then blowing the dust off the old toys. 

I got absolutely thrashed, but it was really good fun. 

So long 2017; here's to a better 2018, eh?

617 - New Mini Lightbox: WOWEE!

Well, as ever the title says it all* - for six quid on eBay I recently bought myself a portable mini lightbox, and with Mrs Drax out I thought I'd take it for a spin:
