Yeah, I'm still alive, and yeah, I've finally ordered one:
Hope you're all well; sorry for the work-induced radio silence of late.

  4. Awesome model. Hoping to get one for my birthday or xmas, but it'll end up the pile of plastic crack still waiting to be built.

Looking forward to seeing this bad boy built!

  5. Make sure you magnetise the missiles on! I done this very quickly and easily and there's nothing quite like making launch and explosion sounds as you fire (and of course, the fact that you can keep a visual count of how many rockets you have left!!!

Sorry I'm still unable to comment on many of your blogs.

  8. Wow: this is indeed a fantastic kit!

My only dislike is the sprue: the branches of plastic which hold the pieces to the sprue are frustratingly thick.

Crumbs, though: this is what a plastic tank kit should be like - it's perfectly machined!

  9. Nope. You cannot tempt me. Although.... to would be nice for the heretics to have a bit more in the way of boom.

  10. I figured that without gluing the targetting mantlet and weapon rack I could double up the manticore as a Trojan! Still not decided how exactly to work this to be adaptable... so the one I painted actually still comes apart! I'll figure out the pinning or magnets for it at some point!
