531 - 6MMRPC 14 - Five Down; Four To Go!

Yup. More glacial progress on Da Masta Cheef's Orkses. Never let it be said that I am a speed-painter.

Obviously the mobile phone pic doesn't really do them justice, but if you look closely, they do have a kind of desert-y colour palette, and I promise you some of the details really are more subtle than they appear here!

    These look appropriately orky indeed. All hodge-podge and so forth as one would expect.

      Thanks, mate. It's amazing how limited my range of paints is after 11 years of painting nothing but Cadians and WW2 British!

      I know the feeling - over 45 shades of greens, browns and greys, yet only 2 oranges, 3 yellows, 3 blues and 4 reds and a purple.

      Once I started painting my rpg minis with all their colourful schemes, I quickly realised that I really needed to change that. Still not a circus of colour on my paint shelf, but a bit better now.
