Well, the week after 6MMRPC finished, I have been able to get a significant amount of painting done on my own models.
The mild irony is not lost on me.
What we have here are the remaining infantry of my (historical) platoon:
3 Section,
OC's runner,
2" mortar team,
And two extra guys with SMGs: one each for 1 and 2 Section.
Hooray! These models continue to be an absolute joy to paint.

Congrats on finding the painting time mate.
ReplyDelete3 Section shall be epic.
Cheers, mate.
DeleteWhen I have the whole platoon done I'm going to try to actually take some good pictures of them.
Yeah, right.
BTW, have you seen Frostgrave? I've been watching some YouTube videos of it, and I can't help thinking of your characterful fantasy minis...
It's also the first fantasy setting ruleset that I've ever been impressed by (Heroquest notwithstanding, of course!).
Heh, I know you've been a busy chap of late so have had little time to pursue posts, but my recent spate of fantasy postings have been driven by Frostrgrave. Even got my son painting a skaven wizard and warband so he can play.
DeleteThe game rules read very straightforward and easy to learn and the campaign system not too cluttered with book keeping.
Am yet to play, but even after only reading the rules and also blog reviews, I am rather excited to jump into this very affordable game.
Oops!
DeleteI'd urge you to check out the tabletopbattle YouTube channel: two very characterful Norwegians give a good introduction to the game before starting a play through of a 10-part campaign. It's really good!

If we play Frostgrave I'm using my Inq28 warbands.
