Well, life is keeping me way too busy at the moment, but last night I stuck on a film and enjoyed putting together the hull of my Cromwell CS.
Thought I'd share with you how I give my Cromwells a weighty sense of gravitas:
Pebbles.
It's far nicer pushing them around the table when they've a bit of mass to them!
I've played a game of X-Wing recently too, but still awaiting the pics...
- Drax
They're glued in, of course...
ReplyDeleteI was about to ask...
Delete"Why does your tank rattle?"
DeleteHow well do the Cromwell's do in battle? I've been fielding a Sherman for support with my Brits. I've got a couple Valentines that I haven't tried out in a game yet, but haven't really looked at the Cromwells at all.
ReplyDeleteCheers for swinging by!
DeleteRules-wise, they're absolutely identical to the kind of Shermans that don't catch fire, but they're longer and lower.
They do look cooler, I reckon...
They must tale almost as badly as the real thing. :-)
ReplyDeleteCheers, John!
DeleteRattle, John ? You're speed typing again...
ReplyDeleteTee-hee!
DeleteSimple and smart solution! I always like to use loose change to help weigh down turrets and the like.
ReplyDeleteCheers! I'll let you know if I ever have any!
DeleteWish I'd thought of that... My T34 feels like it's made of plastic. Wait....
ReplyDeleteShoddy Ruskie work(wo)manship for you. Wait...
DeleteHaha, elegant and simple! I like it.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Matey.
DeleteLike it as long as it does not "rattle" over time
ReplyDeleteHa! No, they are solidly anchored. Besides, my toys never get played with nearly enough for them to come loose!
