Hullo,
I am here.
I've even managed to get in some painting and gaming.
But blogging?
- No. The smackdown that is my Real Life right now is starting at last to... er... settle? - yeah, let's go for 'settle' - but I'm ferrule-deep in my second job each night, so everything is pretty much on hold.
*sad face*
In the meantime, here's a picture from my most recent battle:
I will update you all, I promise...
- Drax.
Two jobs.... Yikes. Stiff upper lip and all that mate.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear gaming and a little hobbying are still going on though.
Mickey-mouse trucks look flippin lovely on that road - hope to see more on that game soon?
Cheers, mate.
DeleteMrs. Drax has made me take the night off tonight, so I can actually reply!
For the third summer in a row, I'm working as a GCSE Literature examiner. I have to mark about 30 papers each night to get through my pile, and that's about 4-5 hours a night.
So hobby time is at a real premium!
There will be a little more on the game...
Keep Calm and carry on
ReplyDeleteCheers, matey. Not long before we get to hang out again, at least...!
DeleteOhh mate. I hear you. Keep at it.
ReplyDeleteI still love that Micky Mouse paint job.
Cheers! More on that soon too...
DeleteGlad to see you're still with it. I've missed your posts for inspirations/ideas for my Bolt Action Brits.
ReplyDeleteKind words, Kushial - thank you indeed!
DeleteThere will be a couple of things over the next couple of weeks, hopefully...
Thank you, Jakub!
ReplyDeleteCan I assume you mean 'original' in a good way?
Some folks have noted that the spots I've painted are quite small, but my research turned up a huge range of sppt sizes in original photos, and I liked the different look of this one.
That said, it was a pain for me to hand-paint all those small circles!
Easier, I think, to follow Cameron's approach if you can: make a masking tape stencil using a hole punch, and spray it with an airbrush!
Thank you, Jakub!

Bah, just give them all a 'B' and sit down to some modelling!
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, I do love that camo, and hope that things settle down soon mate.
Mr King of the B's. With teachers like him i might have passed my gcse's!
